Can I replace baseband from liquid damage?

Hi Guys, my huawei honor 3c fell in water. Everything works except for the sim card function. Is it possible to have the 'baseband'(as i'm told) replaced/ repaired.

An alternative would be having a new motherboard if at all I can find one.

I really like the phone, and won't buy another as this one means a great deal. Thanks
