Broken Lid to Laptop

Hinges have suddenly split on left hand side of laptop lid and left hand side frame is warped and coming away from the screen.  It literally happened  very quickly -  ok one evening, and then next morning the damage appeared, although I promise you it was never dropped so don't quite know why it's suddenly happened.

Can the lid etc. be replaced and if so at what cost please.
