After two years the knob broke.

I tried to glue it together using JB Weld. It did not work. After I re-installed the knob and turned it for the first time, it just broke again.

IKEA is no help. On the other hand they praise their engagement for the environment, on the other hand they don't supply any spare parts.

So I just tried a knob I had laying around for my synthesizers and it worked perfect! The outer diameter is a bit small, so maybe order a bigger outer diameter.

The inner diameter is 6mm and a part of the shaft is flat.

As an example I have put a link to a (german) distributor in this instruction. The order number is KNOPF 13-164B, the distributor is reichelt.de.
