These stains are removable using the right procedure however wrong methods can leave them permanently scratched or damaged. This guide will showcase step-by-step process to remove surface stains and how to keep your sink stain and odour free.

Sprinkle water on the sink and use a paper towel to wipe the sink.
The sink needs to be a little damp before starting the process so make sure you do not dry it completely.

Wear a pair of Vinyl or your cleaning gloves and then sprinkle the baking soda on the damp sink.
It is recommended to use a bowl for baking soda. If you use the box directly, you can accidentally drop too much baking soda on the sink.

Take a wet sponge and use it to scrub the sink in circular motions. Scrub the harder stains with slightly more force.
Make sure you squeeze the sponge beforehand to take out excess water so it is easier to scrub.

Wait for 2 minutes and then spray hydrogen peroxide over the sink.
If you cannot find hydrogen peroxide then you can also use liquid oxygen bleach as a substitute.

Scrub again for another 2-3 minutes. Try to scrub the hard stains with a little force.

Take half a lime/lemon and dip it in baking soda and then use it to clean any leftover rust stains.
Scrub for 2-3 minutes.
