Unscrew the nine remaining 8 mm Phillips-head screws on the back of the device.
You neglected to mention the removal of the HDD.
In total I removed: 10 screws from the outside of the case, 3 small screws around the optical drive, 4 screws around the hard drive (remove the hard drive after doing this), and 3 screws near the SSD and RAM which have little triangle arrows on the panel nearby. I was not apply to perform step 6 until this was done.

Use the opening tool to pry the back of the laptop case from the top
Note: carefully remove the back (bottom) lid and lift the front part first, as shown in the picture, as to not accidentally rip the cables connecting the motherboard to the keyboard.
Also be aware that the lid often is somewhat glued in place, and the clip-on that holds the lid in place can easily break.
In step 5 I noted that I removed 20 screws total. I was not able to pry off the keyboard until I did this. Be very careful and do not force it. I was not able to remove it with a spudger because it was too thick. A credit card worked well because it was thin and you could slide it carefully along the plastic clips to safely disengage them from the case. Note that your credit card might be damaged in the process so use an expired one or a similar plastic card.

Disconnect the 3 cables connecting the motherboard to the keyboard.
Open the safety (lift/turn the black piece of plastic that is pinning the cables in place), and remove (gently pull) the cables from the motherboard (top in the picture).
When reassembling, gently push the cable into its respective slot. Each cable has a white stripe on it that should line up parallel to a white border on the motherboard. Each slot also has a very delicate locking hinge that will secure the ribbon cable in place. One the white stripe and white border are lined up, you will need to close that hinge to secure the ribbon cable. Try testing your battery and keyboard before fully locking the keyboard back in place.

Followed your tutorial and replaced my laptop screen successfully, thanks!
3 stars at best. If I did not have any experience dealing with hardware replacement - and mine is only desktop - I would have been hard pressed to complete the screen replacement, if at all. I can't imagine a single person I know who had never kicked around on the internals of a computer that could have done this. You leave out incredibly important steps and kiddos to the few comments that corrected you on the screws that needed removal. You could have told us to remove the screen cable from the back of the screen and not the motherboard. You also assumed people had special tools at their disposal such as a hinge remover tool, or case separator tool. You should have advised people to take pictures before each step so that when reassembling they could refer to how it looked before they pulled this cable or that. All in all, thanks, but a sloppy job.
EDIT: I see that you did list the told needed at the beginning so I have to retract that issue and can still only give you 3 stars. You make to many assumptions about the technical ability of the reader. Also, I may be wrong but I do not believe the screen cable is a SATA connection.
Also, tell people to take care in storing and organizing the different screws, where they came from, store separately, etc. For instance I took a unused plastic container for a variety of screws with different segments to hold various hardware of different types and labeled each as I removed them.
Step 1: Remove the optical drive.

On the GL752VW-DH71 you have to remove the screw about 6 inches straight back from the middle of the drive in order to remove the disk drive.

You have to remove all the screws from the next step (and the screws that are from the comments, as there are lots more than in the guide)
