I have tried replace the screen to my ipad and it appears to be like in the photo. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with it? Is the LCD broken and spoiled? How do I fix it?

That looks like pry damage on the LCD or bending the display cable on it too much, you’ll need to replace the LCD display.

Since you’ll need to open it up again I recommend buying another replacement glass touch digitizer as well as it is easy to crack replacement glass when you need to open it up again.

I have provided guide and parts for a replacement LCD display if required:

I haven't opened the digitizer glue, so i guess there is no need to open and buy a new digitizer? i also have followed the instructions closely, i just want to know what causes the damage. im so sorry. please help me.

if i just connect the lcd cable without the digitizer, will it work? i want to check if the digitizer is the source of the problem.

It will work without the digitizer plugged in but you need to be careful when disconnecting and connecting the LCD display.

Make sure the battery connector is lifted as shown in the guide when doing so before powering it on and you'll have to power it down using the lift up battery method while the screen is off.

I suppose a possible cause is damage on the display ribbon cable itself if it touches the housing or is scraped.

if i dont have the battery isolation pick, how should i do it? should i just unscrew it? thanks!

What I usually do is take out the battery screw and lift up the battery connector with your nail. You can use any non conductive plastic tool to provide a spacer between the battery connector and the battery to make sure it doesn't connect.

To confirm the battery is disconnected. Try powering it on without disconnecting the LCD display cable, if it doesn't it's ready to be unplugged.
