The laptop will not turn on or show any signs of powering on

Ensure the power cord is plugged in and charging icon in the top left of screen appear. If the power cord is plugged in and the charging icon fails to appear. The power cord is faulty and should be replaced. Try replacing it with this Battery replacement guide

The keys don’t respond or are missing or broken

When the keys can’t be pressed there may be something under the key. Find something to pry up the key. A kitchen knife should work. Then wipeout anything that is underneath.Then snap the key back into place.

No sound will come out of the laptop

Make sure your volume is not all the way turn off by clicking the speaker icon in the bottom right. If there is no sound coming from the speakers then connect headphones and see if they produce sound. If the headphones work your speakers may be damaged and need replacing. Programs loading slowly

Screen partially/completely blacked out

If your device is on and your screen is still black, your backlight may not be bright enough. In order to turn on your backlight brightness up, press the F12 key until the screen becomes visible.
