How do I open the device? My cats knocked the projector off it's place holder and the focus doesn't work as it should. it seems like the lens was knocked out of its focus track and no longer spins unless I hold it for a long time. But it never gets the focus right. If I could get the body open, I could pop it back into place but I don't know where to start.

Here's a video that may give you some clues as to how to open your projector.
I realize that is it not the same model, but mostly manufacturers don't alter things that much between models or if they do not often.
Worth a look perhaps anyway.

Looks like they redesigned as I don't have those screws at the bottom nor the pieces he pulls out in the beginning of the video :(
If the unit has rubber "feet" try removing them as sometimes there are screws underneath. Also check under any labels as they could also have recessed screws there.

How did you finally open it?? I have a similar issue with the lens, did you discovered what happen??

I have my grandson's YG551 that his mother wanted to use as a classroom device but it wasn't working. These things are NOT made to be opened. There are some very deep screws that need a long very thin Phillips (I think) screws) which are virtually unreachable (and I have a LOT of different screwdrivers). Plastic push together pieces break when pulled apart. It doesn't take up a lot of room in the trash can.
