Only one speaker works

I have two sets of Logitech speakers - Z130 and Z200. The Z130 worked for a short time, then only one speaker and then neither. So I bought the Z200 and the same thing has happened. Now only one speaker is projecting sound from my presentations. I am loathe to buy a third set, but having difficult finding someone to repair them. I can’t do it myself so no good recommending YouTube repair instructions. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Since you can’t repair them yourself, do you know anyone with electronic repair skills and tools who might try to do it for you as a favour?

Given the cost of the speakers, professional repair services will probably advise you that it is not economically viable for you to get them to repair the speakers.

Their repair costs (labour + parts) will probably set you back more than a new set of similar speakers, especially the Z130.

The labour cost will be the greater part of the cost of the repair. It still takes time and expertise to diagnose the problem and then hopefully fix it, if the perhaps necessary appropriate part is readily available and it is not a proprietary one made for (or by) the speaker manufacturer so it is unobtainable.
