I have been told I need new “pick up” tires on my Brother printer.. WHERE could I find them for purchase?

If it is the correct part, here is the part number, LX0126001 (or LEK558001 this is the new part number which replaces the previous part number which is now superceded but which is still used by some suppliers -the original part number was found in the parts reference manual for your printer, p.6, ref 1-9, see location of part on p.5
If you search online using the part number only in the search box of your browser you will get results for other suppliers that may suit you better.

Check how many pages are on the printer; this will tell you if it’s dust or age. I’ve seen it happen in both scenarios, so the page count is the best indicator to figure it out. While it is possible to replace them, you need to be careful as it may cost more to change the rollers then it will cost to replace the entire printer. On top of this issue, the rollers are often deeply embedded into inkjet printers, making it a difficult repair. Anyway, the service manual can be found here.
If it’s low (1-7k), you can try both and see which works. Try cleaning it first and if that doesn’t work, check the rollers. If you see any, see if the cost of repair makes sense or if you’re better off replacing the entire printer.
For printers with a high but not excessive page count (8-10k), try cleaning first. If that doesn’t help, then it’s almost certainly premature roller wear.
If it’s high (20k or more) it’s almost certainly because of roller wear. Clean it and see, but don’t be surprised if it’s worn out. These also aren’t worth trying to fix, as there are other wear items like the waste ink pad that are almost certainly near the end of their life.

Given that the part sells for approx $10 + shipping or less (average price looking at about 4 suppliers) it still may be worth replacing it rather than a new printer.

@jayeff I get it in this case, but way more often then not you don't get this lucky in terms of parts cost. If the page count is reasonable (and the OP can check the waste ink pad to see how full it is), then it may make sense. As long as the waste ink pad isn't nearly full, then it might be worth considering. If it looks full, they're better off scrapping it.
The waste ink pad is what will make or break the viabilty of replacing the roller in a low page count printer, if being done by the owner. If that's full (or close to), there's probably other wear parts that are just as bad.
In most cases with printers (which is why I never recommend repair blindly), you either need to do professional dumpster diving and get a parts machine or scrap the old one.

Often times they only need cleaning. Over time they collect paper dust which makes them slick. Some 85% isopropyl alcohol on a swab to wipe down the rollers should fix this.
