Background
The Lenovo Flex 3-1580 uses a Flex chassis, weighing at 5.1 pounds (2.3 kg). This design includes a full 360-degree flip around screen.
Out of the Flex series there is a Lenovo Flex 3-1480 that was released at the same time. This will have a small screen at 14 inches, weighing slightly less at 4.4 lb vs the 4.6 lb in the Flex 3-1580. No recalls were ever initiated.
Most if not all laptops, when you flip these over, you should see a black label in the center. This will have the model number and as well the device name (Flex 3-1580).
Identification
This model number can be located on the bottom of the device, typically in the center with a black label with a barcode on the bottom. This will have the name and serial number as well. The Lenovo Flex 3-1580 is a compact device, but compared to the 1480, it has a slightly bigger screen.
The Lenovo flex 3-1580 comes in all black, equipped with touch screen capabilities and 360-flip screen, and can utilize as a laptop or tablet if needed. No distinct markings other than the Lenovo logo on the top side of the device, and a 6 row full size keyboard.
Released in 2016, with no manufacture recall notices released.
