Background and Identification
A part of the Asus ZenFone series by AsusTek Computer Inc., the ZenFone 6 is one of the first generation of the series released in 2014. The Android smartphone was released alongside the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4.5 and ZenFone 5 the same year.
What differentiated it from the others included features like the 6-inch 1280×720 IPS display with Gorilla glass 3, either a 3230 mAh or 3300 mAh battery, 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB of internal memory depending on the version, up to 64 GB of external memory and 2 GB of RAM. It also featured a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor and a 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
It ran the Android KitKat 4.4.2 operating system and was upgradeable to Android Lollipop 5.0.2.
