Background
The ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LA, released back in 2014, was ASUS' latest edition in the Transformer Book Flip series with its dual capability as a laptop and tablet. It has a 15.6-inch display with an Intel Haswell Core i7-4510U CPU. Other distinguishing features for the TP500LA include a hinge allowing the computer's screen to move in a 360-degree fashion and a touchscreen with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Originally operating on Windows 8.1, the TP400LA can now support Windows 10. The computer has two 2.0 USB ports, one 3.0 USB port, an SD card reader, an HDMI port, a LAN port and a volume rocker. The laptop also has a stereo speaker and a VGA webcam.
On the inside, the TP500LA has an Intel Integrated Graphics 4400 HD card and 8GM of DDR3 RAM. It holds a hard disk drive that supports up to 1TB and a 24GB SSD. Another iteration in ASUS' Transformer Book Flip series is the TP500LN, which has a Nvidia GT 840M graphics card.
