Device will not Charge
"The device will not charge when plugged into a power supply"
Faulty USB Cable
Check to make sure the cable is plugged in to a power supply and correctly plugged into the device. If it is still not working the cable may need to be replaced. You can purchase a new one here from VTech's website if necessary
Faulty Battery
If the USB Cable is not at fault, the battery may be disconnected or damaged. Follow this replacement guide to make sure the battery is connected and replace it if necessary.
Trouble Connecting to the Computer
Watch is not registering that it is connected to a computer.
Bad USB Cable
The physical cable may be broken due to wear and tear, or simply being a faulty cable. Attempt to test it using another device, and if it still does not work, then it must need to be replaced. You can purchase a new one from Vtechhere.
Bad USB Ports
The connection issue could be from a faulty USB port, on either the Smartwatch or the computer you’re trying to connect to. To test if it is the computer USB port, try connecting to another computer and see if that works. If all else fails, it could be the watch’s USB port which can be fixed by replacing the motherboard.
Software Error
The watch may need to have its system reset and reboot, which could be a reason why it was not connecting. To do this: turn the master switch to the OFF setting, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back to ON. Then you can try to reconnect the watch to a computer.
The Screen is Black
The smartwatch is not turning on when attempting to use it.
Power is off
The Master Switch at the back of the watch may have accidentally been switched to OFF which would prevent the watch from turning on. Simply, switch it to ON.
Faulty Battery
The watch may not turn on because the battery is dead. To fix this issue, charge the Smartwatch for at most 3 hours: using the USB cable and a computer, and then try to turn it on again.
Master Switch
You will want to check to see if the master switch is off, located on the back of the watch labeled “ON”. If the master switch fails, there is the potential that your watch’s master switch may be faultyor your battery is not charged. In this case, connect a USB cable between the watch and the computer allowing it to charge.
Bad Motherboard
If the Master Switch appears to not need to be replaced, then the issue could be inside of the Smartwatch. The final solution to not being able to turn on the watch could be to replace the motherboard.
Button is Stuck
Pressing the button does not do anything.
Cleaning
If a button seems to feel sticky to the touch, it may need to be cleaned. In order to do so, you must deconstruct the watch to remove the buttons first. Then, wash both the button and the watch frame with a water-based cleanser. Once fully dry, reassemble the watch.
Exposure to water
After exposure to water, the watch does not work properly.
Watch no longer works
After an accidental fall into water, do not turn the watch on, there’s a good chance the watch will short circuit. Therefore, you want to turn the master switch to "OFF" and unscrew the backing of the watch. Without removing any of the mechanics in the watch fully submerge the casing in a cup of uncooked rice or other drying agent such as silica gel. After a minimum of 24 hours up to 72 hours, reassemble the watch.
Faulty Display/USB port/Motherboard
After attempting to use a drying agent, and if a part of the device still does not work properly, refer to the relevant repair guides. If the parts still do not work after going through the troubleshooting guides, then the motherboard will most likely need to be replaced.
Images are Not Clear

Improper Resolution Settings

Display is Difficult to See
When looking at the face of the watch, it is hard to see the screen being displayed.
Noticeable Scratches on Watch Face
Try polishing the screen with a standard whitening, non-gel toothpaste using a soft cloth in a circular motion; this will work to smooth out any scratches in the cover, then clean it off with another cloth making sure not to get any water inside the device
If this does not work, please see the repair guide on how to replace the front cover of the device.
Dark Screen
Most likely the the screen is not properly connected to the motherboard. Follow this guide on replacing the motherboard to learn how to remove the board and check that the screen is properly connected.
