My keyboard is malfunctioning
Your phone’s keyboard is not responding as expected. Some keys do not function.
Drained battery
Check to make sure your battery is charged. If your battery is not charged, plug your phone in until it is sufficiently charged. Once your battery is charged, turn the phone on by pressing and holding down the power button (located on the top-right corner).
Dirty keyboard
First, use a dry cloth to wipe away any buildup of debris between keys. If the buildup is particularly bad, use compressed air to dislodge debris stuck in the cracks of your phone’s keyboard.
Faulty keyboard
It is possible that your keyboard has been damaged. If no keys are working as expected or a region of the keyboard is constantly giving problems, the keyboard may have to be replaced.
My phone will not turn on
Phone will not turn on after charging the battery or using the power button to turn it on. The screen remains black without any display.
Drained battery
Check to make sure your battery is charged. If your battery is not charged, plug your phone in for awhile. Once your battery is charged, turn the phone on by pressing and holding down the power button (located on the top, right side).
Damaged battery
If your battery does not sustain a charge, you may have a faulty battery. When this happens, your battery will drain quickly even when left to charge to full. Replace your phone’s battery.
Corrupted ROM
At times your ROM may become corrupted. This includes software that is essential to your phone (the operating system, for example). In this case, you will need to reset your phone by using the recovery mode.
Faulty motherboard
If your phone has critically failed and no other repair helps, you will likely need to replace your phone's motherboard. This includes a lot of the hardware used by the phone, so this is a last resort. Disassemble your phone and replace the motherboard (up to step 6).
Faulty charging port
If the phone does not charge when plugged in, your charging port may be bad. If the phone is working, you can see that it is charging using the battery indicator on the top right. If the phone is turned off, the back cover should get warm to the touch when charging. Disassemble your phone. You can then replace the entire motherboard (up to step 6) or replace the connector (requires desoldering the connector).
Faulty display/broken screen
If your screen has been physically damaged or does not show an image when the phone is powered on, you will likely need to replace it. Replace your.
My phone's speaker is not working
The speaker may sound distorted or may not produce a sound.
Volume
The volume should be kept at moderate level and should not reach max level.
Cord might be plugged into the audio jack
The audio jack may be occupied by headphones or an auxiliary cord, which may prevent the use of the speaker.
Replace speaker
It is possible that your speaker may be damaged or blown out. Speakers are often damaged by listening to music at a very high volume. To avoid such issues, listen at a moderate volume. Follow the steps in this guide to replace the speaker.
My phone's camera is not working
Camera constantly refocuses or it keeps making the sound of the shutter opening and closing.
Restart device
Many problems that are software related can be fixed with a restart. Hold the power button on your phone down, and choose "restart" in the menu that pops up.
Replace camera
Since the camera is very small and difficult to repair, you are much better off purchasing a new camera to replace the defective one. Follow the steps in the camera replacement guide.
My phone is not connecting to the network
Your phone will not connect to the mobile broadband network.
Insert sim card
Remove the back of your phone, and make sure the SIM card is inserted firmly into its slot.
Reconnect antenna cable
If your phone has been tossed around a lot, it is possible that your antenna cable has disconnected from the motherboard or antenna. Disassemble your phone and make sure the white cable is connected firmly to the motherboard (step 6) and the antenna (step 12).
Replace antenna cable
Your phone’s antenna cable may have worn out. The cable can be replaced by following the disassembly guide. Disconnect the cable from the motherboard (step 6) and the antenna (step 12). Insert new cable and route it along the same path (make sure it goes through the wire holders).

Your phone’s antenna circuitry may have worn out. Disassemble your phone and replace the antenna (step 12-13).
