Wanted to enable Continuity on my 2010 Mac Book Pro 15" upgrading the BT/wireless card using a BCM94331PCIEBT4CAX and the 2011/12 Airport/BT Bracket

Very well, both our 2010 15" Mac Book Pro's are now running with Hand off and continuity! :-)

Buy the 2011 Airport/BT bracket instead of trying to modify the old 2010 to fit the BCM94331PCIEBT4CAX.
