Hi Shubhangi,

While this is likely caused by a faulty/damaged screen, I would advise you to take a photo of the "horizontal line problem" and send it here so I can assess the damage more.

@shubhangijain if there is a horizontal line on your screen and your phone does not work, this sounds like a failed display. Of course, it is possible that this is a board or software issue as well.

Start off with the software. Try to restart your phone in safe mode. you do that by:

  1. Press and hold the power button until the power options appear
  2. Press and hold the power off button until the "reboot to safe mode" prompt appears
  3. Tap the prompt
  4. Tap OK to initiate the reboot

Now see if your phone responds. If it does, you know that the issues is caused by a bad 3rd party App. You will have to delete the added Apps one after the other to determine which one caused it.

If there is still not change and your phone still does not work, you can try a factory reset. I am always careful with suggest that, since it will delete all of your files. You will lose your pictures/music/SMS/contacts etc. So, use that as a last resort. You will also need to have your Google account username and password. The same account as you've used to set up your phone. Otherwise you cannot access your phone after the reset. Here is how to do that.

Ultimately, I am convinced that your display assembly has failed and causing those issues. Since iFixit does not yet have a guide for this, use something like this video or even the guide from here It's for a Y20S but it's identical to your phone. It was written in Spanish so you may need a browser that can translate it for you.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
