I made a post on here before someone said it was a module or something and that I can fix it by doing repair but thats costy for me and I tried the thing where you hold it at an angle with a light and I do see my screen on my tablet but its so hard to navigate to the screen share thing. Is there any other way?

Hi @ackack

From your description it sounds like a backlight problem with the display.

Your choices are:

  • Use the flashlight to navigate through the tablet and enable the Smart View feature (which should be on the tablet) and use screen mirroring to view the display on a compatible TV.
  • Check for the problem on the systemboard by following the no display troubleshooting flowchart from the service manual.
  • If the flowchart tests are OK, the display is faulty so you have to replace it.

Here's the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) Screen Replacement that may help.
