What type of SSD does the Mac Mini late 2014 use?
Can you use a Samsung 860 QVO SSD in this or does it have to be 860 EVO?

Your system has two ports!
- SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) interface which can support either a 2.5” HDD or SSD Reemplazo del disco duro Mac Mini a finales de 2014

The drives you are looking as are both SATA III (6.0 Gb/s)
- Samsung 860 EVO SSD
- Samsung 860 QVO SSD and the newer replacement Samsung 870 QVO
Both are limited to the SATA ports 6.0 Gb/s throughput. Either will work!
If you are looking for speed I would recommend going with a PCIe blade drive like the custom Apple drives or OWC Aura X2 drives
