Hi,

Even though the battery may be charged it doesn’t mean that they can handle the load alone anymore.

Try replacing the battery and then check.

Here’s the ifixit Tivoli iPAL Teardown guide. This will help you to remove the battery.

Search online for MA-3 battery to find suppliers of the battery.
