How to fix the Display-Cover to the backside of the display?

How can I attach the display cover to the MacBook Pro (13-inch, late 2011, unibody)? The cover is loose at the bottom left (when opened).

The attached photos show and explain the problem: If you look at the left side of the display, you can see that the aluminum cover (housing) is loose.

Impact:

If the cover does not come into contact with the back of the display, the mouse pointer freezes after a short time; the keystrokes are also not displayed, but initially buffered. After a short time, the screen loses color, only grayscale is displayed and the entire screen display is roughly rasterized, just like newspaper photos.

As soon as the display panel and the aluminum housing are lightly pressed together on the lower left side of the display with the help of a finger and a finger, the display immediately refreshes normally, the mouse pointer can be moved again and the written text is completed on the buffer.

If the compression is done too late, my MacBook pro will crash.

Question:

How can I firmly connect the aluminum housing (display lid) with the back of the display?

Thanks for a suggestion!

Rainer

Can you post some pics so we can see whats up. Take a few at an angle along the side and one from the back with the display lid closed as well Agregar imágenes a una pregunta existente

I'm trying to understand if the cover glass came unglued, or if the frame and shell became unglued, or if the hinges have loosened up.
