We had 2 TCL 55” Class 4 Series 4K UHD Smart Roku TV’s, model number 55S435
Each was purchased with a 5 year warranty from BestBuy.
First TV was bought on 8/30/17, no video 1 year later (but sound). BestBuy made us go to a local repair store, they replaced main board. TV died completely in April 2019.
BestBuy replaced it on 4/25/19 with a new one, same model. on 3/31/21 the screen went blank, sound is still on. Were told we have to wait at least 10 days for an appointment.
We tried several tips and tricks, none showed any improvement.
Every time BestBuy replaces a TV the warranty purchased is considered fulfilled, and a new one would have to be purchased.
We wont to it if we get another TCL TV. It is low quality. Plus the BestBuy warranty causes too much of a runaround.
