PS3 Dualshock 3 controller continuously vibrating

My PS3 Dualshock 3 controller has started continuously vibrating for some reason. I’ve tried resetting the controller but it’s still the goes on vibrating as soon as it’s powered on. I can’t tell if this started after a drop or not but I haven’t found a way to fix it yet. I will try referring to the Vibration Motors guide (Reemplazo de los motores de vibración del DualShock 3) but does anyone has any ideas and suggestions?

I am not able to get an original and official replacement PS3 controller anymore and with most of the after market copies, the motion-sensing features don’t work.
