My son recently purchased a replacement battery for my MacBook Pro, from yourselves via Amazon.
We have installed and recalibrated the battery, however the charge drops very rapidly from around 55% to 5% in a matter of minutes. Can you please advise.

I'm interested in the outcome here. My (old) battery is draining very quickly, and I'm considering the replacement kit. But, of course, if it doesn't work...

Its getting long in the tooth! The battery is only rated for 1000. I'm suspecting your battery needs replacing as age is also a factor here.
Thanks, Dan. I'm gonna give this a try, replacing the battery. If I can get another year or so out of this machine, I'd love that. It's the best Mac laptop ever. Hate to give it up in favor of newer models with crummy keyboards, lack of ports, etc. Maybe I can wait for Apple to improve its laptop offerings again to mirror this one ;)

Can you install this app CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps window and post it here for us to see Agregar imágenes a una pregunta existente. If you can take two snapshots one with the MagSafe connected and a second with it disconnected after a few minutes.
That way we can see if the battery is bad or something else needs fixing.
