Is it possible to have both a SATA III SSD + PCIe SSD?
Hello friends ,
I have a Mac Mini Late 2014 which I upgraded to a SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) SSD Samsung EVO.
I want to know if I can add a PCIe SSD in as well.
Thanks

If your SATA SSD/HDD is like the SSD I linked below then yes. If your blade SSD is like the blade SSD I linked below then yes. Any other type of SSDHDD/Blade SSD then you will need an external enclosure and to use it as an external startup drive.

To clarify your Mac Mini has two ports one SATA were a standard 2.5" HDD or SSD will work and one Apple custom blade SSD.
It is not able to support a M.2 compliant SSD. So the answer is no you can't use a M.2 SSD in your Mac Mini.
But! You can add in the custom SSD cable and the custom SSD unit (the OWC Aura SSD in the link is also designed to work as well).
