Hi
I have Carge 3 that can't turn on, unless it's connected to the USB port.
A. There is a way to solve this issue? Pressing common button combinations do not work
B. There is a way to update firmware using my PC? The JBL Connect app can't find the device (though I can play music from my android)

i think if you plug it in and hold the connect plus button and the volume up button until it turns off it should fix it

Just fixed mine with same issue.
Follow this sequence:
1. Turn the device on while connected to charger
2. Press the call (phone icon) and the volume up (+) button at the same time and keep them pressed. After a few seconds the speaker will shut down.
3. Release the buttons.
4. Turn the speaker back on. It will automatically enter into search mode... And there you are, memory wiped up.
I then did the firmware update.

I have the same problem. How did you solve it? I can't find anything to flash the software. Now my box can't even connect to my phone. It just keeps restarting.

I had a swollen battery. Check it first. The problem has been fixed after replacing the battery and holding Connect + Volume up

y qué hay del JBL Flip 3 Stealth Edition? Es un Flip 3 sin Connect, no lleva ni el botón... De hecho ni se puede usar el software Connect, así que es imposible actualizar éste altavoz. Sin embargo el UE Boom 2 Lite que también tengo sí que conecta con la aplicación UE global para esos altavoces, y por supuesto ha supuesto mi decisión de comprar un Megaboom 2 para complementar al "pequeño" UE Boom 2. Está claro que JBL es especial, pero ya que haces un gran altavoz deja que al menos se pueda actualizar fácilmente el firmware.

You must connect the speaker to AC and hold Connect+ and Volume Up. It should be powered off by itself and then you could use it without AC.
