iPad 4 - LCD ribbon cable problem

Hi all,

Today I tried to change my touch screen of my broken iPad. This all went without problems, but when I tried to install everything back, I had problem with installing the ribbon cable of the LCD. As you can see on the photo, the white stripe on the cable is not pushed in enough to work. At the touch cables the white stripe isn't visible, because this one is fitted well.

Why is the cable not going far enough? I don't want to put too much force to it.

It might as well be that is sufficiently inside as it is..did you try locking it in place and check if it's firmly connected ? Otherwise there might be some debris to be possibly blown away with some compressed air.

Yes I already tried to blow it out, but it looks clean. Also cleaned it with iso. alcohol, but still the same problem.

In my experience, I think the line actually represents how far in the connector needs to go. Looking at your picture, it looks like it is in all the way. Did you replace the digitizer? If so, you could have a bad part.
