Removing Screws

  • If present, use the spudger to remove the rubber screw caps over the 3 screws in the center of the backplate.

  • Start by removing the center 3 screws, which are shorter than the top 6 of the outer 10 screws.

  • Then, remove the outer screws, with exception of the bottom corner screws. Note: The bottom 4 screws are the same length as the center 3

  • Finally, remove the two bottom corner screws. The one on the bottom right should lift the cover, making it easier to insert the opening pick in the next step. However, you cannot remove the bottom right screw.

  • Yes, the bottom right screw is meant to catch the bottom panel to help lift the panel out. Do NOT drill the hole just to remove that screw.

Retira los tornillos

Si se presenta, usa la espátula para remover la tapa de goma de los tornillos sobre los 3 tornillos en el centro de la placa trasera.

Empieza retirando los 3 tornillos de la parte central, los cuales son mas cortos que los 6 de la parte superior de los 10 tornillos exteriores.

Después, retira los tornillos exteriores, con excepción del los tornillos de la esquina inferior. Nota: Los 4 tornillos inferiores son del mismo tamaño que los 3 centrales

Finalmente, retira los dos tornillos de la esquina inferior. El que esta en la parte derecha inferior debería levantar la cubierta, haciendo más fácil insertar la púa de apertura en el siguiente paso. De cualquier manera, no puedes retirar el tornillo inferior derecho.

Si, el tornillo del inferior derecho esta diseñado para atrapar el panel inferior para ayudar a levantar el panel hacia afuera. NO hagas un agujero solo para retirar ese tornillo.
