Canon PowerShot G9 SD-Card Slot Write Lock.

Paso 1 — Open rear cover of camera.

Be very careful not to touch any charged flash capacitor

Paso 2 — Remove Buttons.

Remove the two screws circled green.

Paso 3 — Remove Jog Dial Unit.

Disconnect ribbon cable by lifting up flap.

Paso 4 — Remove Finder dial.

Remove the one screw circled green.

Paso 5 — Remove LCD.

Remove screw and lift LCD upwards very carefully. Do not put any strain on cables.

Paso 6 — Remove main PCB.

Remove screws.

Paso 7 — Check SD-Card Slot.

Measure continuity with a multimeter on SD-card slot write protect switch.
