Background and Identification
The Swann Doorphone Video Intercom is a small video camera that is used to view and communicate with visitors. The first edition Swann Doorphone Video Intercom was released in 2013. This model of Doorphone is identified by the 3.5" LCD screen and by its model number SWHOM-DP870C. The model number can be found on the Swann sticker located on the back panel of the LCD monitor. The monitor is black in color and is identified by the Talk, Unlock, and Call buttons on the right hand side.
This version of the Doorphone included a smaller screen than later models and came with the screen monitor in black. The later models have a 4.3" screen and a 7" screen. This Doorphone has 3.5" 320 x 240 pixel LCD monitor and 380 TV lines camera. The Doorphone also is equipped with 13ft (4m) night vision and 2 way audio.
The Swann Doorphone Video Intercom 3.5" was replaced by the Swann Doorphone Video Intercom 4.3" in 2015 and this was replaced by the Swann Doorphone Video Intercom 7" in 2017 .
