The Panasonic SL-MP73J is a portable CD player manufactured by Panasonic in Japan, and released in 2003. It has an anti-skip system, MP3 playback ability, headphone jack, and a durable, portable design. It was widely distributed across the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and other countries across Europe and Asia.

The intended user group is for people who want to listen to music on the go whether they are running or driving. There is a Jogger Soft Case that goes around the waist and comes with the Panasonic SL-MP73J so people can easily bring it on the go. It is not currently on the market, but you can buy it from resellers from $15.00 to $100.00 depending on the condition.

The malfunctions that come with the device tend to include, the CD not being read or skipping, corroded batteries, faulty AC adapter, issues with the Hold button, and overall power problems.
