HP Envy 15t-as100

The HP Envy 15t-as100 model was released in line with the HP Envy 15 series. HP Envy is a popular laptop line that started in 2009. The 15 line's major component was the i5 intel processor which, as seen in the 15t-as100 model, has been upgraded to the i7 and a touch screen. The 15t-as100 model was revealed in late 2017-2018. This model along with the other 15 models gets its name from the display being 15 inches. The 15 series hosts around 30 other models, the most notable being the x360 which is fully convertible with a 360-degree hinge. The price of these 15 devices can range from 679$ to 1029$. Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced a series of recalls for certain batteries sold worldwide from 2015 to 2018 and the HP Envy 15 line was mentioned within the safety recall announcement.

Given its specifications, this model would support an everyday workload such as email, video streaming, and even more resource-intensive processes such as video rendering. Its versatility and specifications make it capable for a large range of users. There has been no model released in the 15t-as100 line, but the most recent release after this is the HP Spectre x360 which is an update on one of the most popular Envy product models the x360.

The HP Envy 15t-as100 model can be identified by the lowercase "hp" letters right under the screen in the middle of the bezel. The "hp" logo will be a grey circle and the letters will be black sketched into the logo. The model number, product number, warranty information, and serial number are located on the bottom of the laptop. This model has a grey base, black keyboard, and black bezel. The device materials for this laptop are mainly plastic and LED for the screen and bezel and an aluminum-plastic base.
