HP 15-af123cl Repair

The HP 15-af123cl is a touchscreen laptop that was released in 2016. It was intended for the general home consumer market, and retails from $160 (used) and all the way up to $800 (new). While there are no significant innovations in the design of the HP 15-af123cl, it is a serviceable laptop with no widespread product recalls or complaints.

The HP 15-af123cl is a heavy (7.7 lb) diamond patterned silver laptop. At 15” by 10” by 1” it is also on the larger side of laptops with similar processing power and functionality. This increased size does allow for the inclusion of an optical drive (DVD/CD player)—an increasingly rare feature. The device also has an island style keyboard. While this does mean the keys are shorter and sleeker it also causes removal of individual keys for cleaning to be difficult and complete replacement of the keyboard impossible.
