Background
This is neat little kit produced by Elenco. It is one of two FM radio kits sold by Elenco. This radio only has an auto scan function, hence the name Auto-Scan FM Radio. It is a very simple piece of equipment. It is a circuit board with several resistors, capacitors and switches soldered to the circuit board. There is no outer case in which the completed circuit board goes into.

The Elenco Auto-Scan FM Radio FM-88K model number (FM-88K) is printed directly onto the PCB.
