Identification and Background
The CyberHome CH-DVD 300 is a DVD player released by CyberHome Entertainment. It is compatible with the following formats: CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, SVCD, and Video CD. It can also support MP3 audio formats and JPEG photo formats.
The dimensions of the DVD player are 9” x 9” x 2” and its weight is 4 lbs, making it much smaller than other models. Different programmable modes included are still, playback, zoom in, and zoom. Features included are 24 bit audio Digital to Analog Conversion (DAC), a 90 dB audio Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), and an 80 dB DVD Dynamic Range. The DVD player can also display languages such as English, French, and Spanish. The picture control includes brightness, saturation and sharpness. It also uses progressive scanning to display media and supports letterbox, pan and scan, and widescreen modes.
The DVD player was originally sold with a remote control.
The CyberHome CH-DVD 300 is silver in color and can be identified by the device name and model number in the lower-left corner of the device’s front face. The word “CyberHome” and the company’s logo are debossed on the top panel of the device.
