Background and Identification
This tablet was released in July 2013 by Asus, it is also referred to as the ME173X by Asus. There are two versions, one with 8 GB of internal memory and another with 16 GB of internal memory. It features a 7 in. screen, a rear 5 MP camera and front facing 1.2 MP camera on the 16 GB model. The 8 GB model has a 2 MP rear facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. The 16 GB model is the only one to feature dual stereo speakers.
The main difference of this tablet to other similar Asus tablets is the back panel. This tablet features a recessed black Asus logo while other similar models have a white Asus logo.
