My writing is not being saved to the device memory
No matter what you do, you can't get the device to save the displayed image.
Device wasn't started properly
Push the save/wake button before writing on the device.
Memory is full
Check to see if the Save/wake button is flashing yellow or red. If it is, the Boogie Board's internal memory is full
The device is still connected to your computer
Unplug the device if it is still connected.
The device is still locked
Check the switch on the left side of the device to ensure it is unlocked.
My Boogie Board Rip won't transfer files
You cannot transfer files from the tablet to the computer.
Missing some writing/drawing strokes
Your internal antenna may not be connecting properly with your stylus.
Unsecure USB connection
Check that the device is properly plugged into your computer with a USB mass storage device cable.
Uninstalled software
Check the publishers website for the most up-to-date version of the software.
Wrong operating system
Ensure you have the correct software for your Macintosh or Windows operating system.
My Boogie Board Rip won't turn on
No matter what, you cannot get the device to turn on.
Uncharged battery
Leave the device plugged into a power source for a minimum of two hours to ensure a significant charge for the battery.
Locked device
Check the switch on the left side of the device is set to unlock.
Device needs to be reset
Using a pin or other small object, push the reset button on the back of the device.
My Boogie Board Rip won't erase
The images on the screen will not go away after you press the erase button.
Locked device
Check the switch on the left side of the device.
Uncharged battery
Leave the device plugged into a power source for a minimum of two hours.
I lost the stylus or have trouble drawing on the device
You have no way to draw or write on the screen
Lost stylus
You may use any non-abrasive item to write on the screen, such as a pen cap or a fingernail. However, you will not be able to save your images because the stylus contains a device that is tracked by the antenna in the Boogie Board.
Magnetic field
Ensure you are not using the device near magnets, as this can cause interference with the device's screen.
