Bluetooth Connectivity Issues
Your device is on but it is not connecting
Bluetooth Disconnected
Before you connect to the Bluetooth, you must pair it with your devices. Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on for both devices. To do this, go to “Settings” on your phone, and tap the “Bluetooth” option. You will see discoverable Bluetooth devices near you. Select the device name of your soundbar and click “Connect”. After pairing successfully, you should see “Connected” below the device name. Your devices should stay paired until you turn off connection from either device.
Faulty Bluetooth Sensor
Try to connect the soundbar with another device’s Bluetooth. Once you have tried connecting the bluetooth to other devices and still are unable to make the bluetooth connect, consider replacing the Bluetooth sensor with this guide.
Power Cord not working
Your Polk MagniFi Soundbar is not turning on or is not staying on.
Faulty Power Adapter
Ensure the power adapter is plugged in and the charge light is on. If the light is not on, and the adapter is plugged in, the adapter is faulty. If you have another adapter on hand with the same voltage then test that one with the soundbar. If the other one works then use that one if possible.
If this does not work follow this guide to replace the internal power adapter.
Soundbar not responding to volume adjustment
Your soundbar is on and there is volume but you cannot change the volume.
Unresponsive Volume Buttons
If the remote works but the buttons on the soundbar are not responsive, try cleaning the keys by removing them and cleaning under the key. Put the keys back in place following this guide and test the volume buttons.

Polk Magnifi Max sound bar…
I would gladly replace the motherboard, at this point. The remote has a very narrow window where it can see the sound bar and command have to be pushed twice. The remote has been doing this out of the box. Every change of source material requires resetting the volume, voice and bass after it turns off henever you're distracted for longer than ~ five minutes it can't even remember where it was set. There's no way to save any settings at all. Please help! I am a technician and an audio engineer and I have a bench. Is poke ever going to accept the fact that their rushed control design just doesn't cut it? It's been a long time since I purchased this unit so where are my updates???

After selecting Bluetooth via remote, my audio comes on for six seconds, mutes itself for three seconds and then the cycle repeats itself. How do I fix that? Although Opt 1 works, I prefer to connect via Bluetooth for better surround sound.
