Device Isn’t Charging
After plugging in the charger, the Pebble doesn’t turn on
It hasn’t been charging long enough
After a full battery depletion, the Pebble may take a while to wake up. It is recommended to charge the Pebble for at least 3 hours before trying to turn it back on by holding the Select button (the middle button on the right). It is also a good idea to try and turn it on once while on the charger and once while off the charger.
Not drawing enough power
Some chargers do not draw enough power to charge the Pebble. Make sure to try multiple outlets and multiple chargers (chargers for iOS devices are not very compatible with the Pebble) as this could fix the issue. Also, be sure to plug the USB end of your charger into your computer/AC adapter before plugging it into the Pebble.
Cable must be cleaned
Sometimes the various parts of the cable may need to be cleaned, here are a few common fixes. Use a pencil eraser to polish and clean the metal charging stations on the cable. Clean the contacts with rubbing alcohol (90% or higher). Depress the charging cable’s contacts to make sure that they are all popping up properly.
SOS Screen
Watch is displaying an SOS screen and isn’t responding to any input.
Pebble is Unable to Connect to Bluetooth Device
On all pebble watches, when the watch is unable to find the device it is Bluetooth connected to, it goes into a recovery mode that pebbles calls SOS mode. To get out of this mode, the device that has been connected to the pebble watch needs to “forget” the watch, and create a new connection to the pebble watch. This can usually be done by going through the device’s settings app, going to the Bluetooth section, finding a list of connected devices, selecting pebble time round, and selecting the option that says “forget this device”. Once the device is disconnected from the pebble time round, the device only needs to reconnect to the pebble time round as if it is a new connection. This can be done by going to the pebble watch application and connecting as if it is a new watch.
No vibration for Notifications
Device is not vibrating when notifications are present
Quiet Time is turned on
Your Quiet Time may be turned on which would mean that notification vibration is disabled. Open your watch menu and go to and select “Settings”. In the settings scroll to and select “Quiet Time”. Make sure that “Manual” is set to “off”. You will not get any vibrations if Quiet Time is turned on.
Device is not fully connected
You have to start by plugging in the watch to the charger . Once it is on, open the menu to your watch and select “Settings”. Scroll to and select “System”. In ‘System” scroll down to and select “Factory Reset”. On you cell phone open “Setting” and go to your Bluetooth settings”. Once the watch restarts, open the Pebble App and tap “Connect" to reconnect the phone to the watch.
Screen is Cut Off
The circles on the screen are overlapping and part of the screen is covered.
Realignment is Required
Start by using a thin spatula or scalpel to pry off the glass screen. Be careful not to break the glass. The circle with numbers is separate from the display, so it could have moved and overlapped with the display. Simply realign the circle with numbers on the display and attach using a very small amount of non-conductive glue. Reattach the glass cover and the screen should no longer be overlapping or cut off.
