Diminished Battery Life

Battery isn't lasting long enough

Is Firmware is Up to Date?

Make sure your watch recently updated. Older versions of software can slow down the battery and shorten charge.

Is the Watch Running Power Intensive Activities?

Check for power-heavy features like continuous heart rate monitoring or GPS that could be draining the battery. Additionally, reflect on your watch usage pattern and limit activities that require high processing power.

Poor Battery Condition

Check the condition of the battery, as degraded batteries may need replacement. Are there any noticeable signs of aging? blemishes? Dust or debris on the surface? Try to wipe down the battery and gently blowing on it before reinstalling.

Screen is Unresponsive

The Watch May Need to be Reset

This simple yet effective method of reset may solve any surface level issues. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds or until the watch shuts down. Then repeat this step until the watch is powered back on.

Dirty Screen

Use a standard microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen and remove all moisture, sweat, or other debris.

Incorrect Touch Screen Settings

If accessible, navigate to the settings menu and find touch screen settings. Experiment with different sensitivity levels to ensure your touch registers a response from the screen.

Factory Reset

If all else fails, you may need to completely reset your watch. You can reset your watch from the OS app on your phone. Additionally, from the system menu on your watch, you can select disconnect and reset.

The Watch May Need to Restart

Start by simply restarting your Misfit Vapor watch. To properly execute this step please press and hold the middle button on the right-hand side of the watch until you see the power options pop up. Gently tap on the "Restart" option and give it a few minutes for the device to reboot.

Dirty Speaker Port

You take your watch almost everywhere with you! It is important to remember that watches get dirty from time to time. The buzzing noise can be caused by dirt accumulated or debris in the speaker port. To check this, be sure to use a small gentle brush and give it a good clean. If nothing has worked to this point, be sure to check out the following steps.

Charger is Causing Noise

In case your Misfit Vapor is emitting a buzzing sound while it's connected to the charger, attempt to disconnect it from the charger and check if the noise ceases. If it does, it's possible that the problem has to do with the charger itself, and you can attempt to use a different one.

Software Update

Smartwatches always need to be updated regularly. To check for available software updates, navigate to "Settings" > "System" > "About" > "Software Update."

Factory Reset

If the preceding actions fail to solve the problem, you might have to perform a factory reset on your Misfit Vapor. To initiate the process, go to "Settings" > "System" > "Disconnect and Reset" > "Reset Device." Keep in mind that this operation will delete all data on your watch, so be sure to create a backup of any crucial information before proceeding.

Watch Will Not Charge

Dirty Charging Port

Dirt, dust, and debris can accumulate in the charging port over time and prevent the charging cable from making a proper connection. Use a soft-bristled brush or a toothpick to carefully clean out the charging port.

Charging Cable and Charging Port Damage

If the charging cable or the port is damaged, try using a different cable or charging dock. Try plugging the charging cable into a different USB port, wall adapter, or power bank to see if the watch starts to charge.

Restart Watch

Sometimes, restarting the watch can help it to recognize the charging cable and start charging. To restart the watch, press and hold the power button until it turns off, and then press the power button again to turn it back on. If none of the above steps work, try resetting the watch to its factory settings. This will erase all data on the watch, so make sure to back up any important information before resetting. To reset the watch, go to Settings > System > Reset.

Moisture in The Watch

Moisture that is present on the watch can result in unwanted touches coming from the moisture build up on the screen. Prevent any moisture from accumulating on the watch before using the watch again by letting it air dry.

Restart the Watch

It could be that the watch is experiencing some issues in the software causing unwanted touches from being inputted. A simple restart can help the device reset and stop the unwanted touches from occurring. To restart the watch, press and hold the power button until it turns off, and then press the power button again to turn it back on.
