The Device Won’t Turn On
Press the power button but the device won't turn on.
Device Isn't Charged
Plug the charging cable into the device for 15 minutes and press the power button. See if the device lights turn on.
Turn On Using the Keyboard
1. Plug in an alternative keyboard or use the device’s keyboard.
2. Press the Windows Key + Ctrl + Shift + B to turn on.
Force Restart
Press and hold the device power button for 20 seconds and wait for the Windows logo to appear on the screen.
Speakers Aren’t Working
Speakers are on and connected to the device, but no sound comes out.
Speaker Volume
Make sure that the speaker volume isn't turned down or muted.
Speakers Aren't Properly Connected
Make sure that the wires connecting the speaker to the device is properly plugged into the speakers and the device.
Keyboard Is Unresponsive
The keys are not working when pressed
Force Shutdown
Hold down the power button for 20 seconds.
Check for Windows Update
Go to Windows Settings, Update & Security and make sure laptop is up to date, including optional updates.
Check Settings
Keyboard Behavior may be affected by Filter Keys. Go to Windows and settings, Ease of access, and keyboard to check keyboard settings.
Audio Accessories Aren’t Working
There is no sound when using headphones or other audio accessories.
Check Audio Accessory Connections
1. Make sure that the accessory is properly plugged into the device.
2. Go to the device’s Sound Settings, go to Output, and select the output accessory.
Adjust the Volume
Adjust the volume on your device using the volume buttons F3 and F4 or use the volume button on the right of the taskbar.
Restart the Device
Hold the power button on the device keyboard to shut it off or use the Windows Key to shut down or restart. Wait a few seconds and turn the device back on if you shut it down.
Wi-Fi Isn’t Working
Having WI-FI connection issues like browsers not loading.
Wi-Fi isn't Turned On
Verify that you do not have your WIFI setting turned off on your device.
Wi-Fi Router isn't Working
Connect to the Wi-Fi on another device and verify that it is working.
