The Kodak EasyShare LS743 is a sleek, silver, 4 megapixel camera. It contains a 3.6X digital zoom, and various picture taking modes.
Camera won't turn on
"Camera not functional"
Battery Issues
If your camera won't turn on, there is a good chance that the battery may need to be replaced. Search online for a battery that is compatible with the LS743 on www.kodak.com or elsewhere. Remove the old battery from the camera and replace it with the new battery.
LCD broken
"No camera display"
Cracked Screen
If the screen is cracked, then the LCD needs to be replaced. Find a screen that is compatible with the LS743. Kodak does not provide any, but other online retailers do provide them. Remove the battery from the camera. Gently pry open the case, and remove the screen. Separate the LCD from the backlight. Take out the screen and replace it with the new one.
*Note* Replacing the screen will void the camera's warranty.
LCD not displaying
If the LCD is not displaying, it may need to be replaced. Follow the guide for removing the LCD screen to fix the problem.

Lens
Lens Won't Retract
If the lens won't retract, there may be something inside the camera preventing the lens from moving. Try removing the battery, and cleaning the camera contacts with a dry cloth to remove any corrosion or substances that may be blocking the lens.
Broken Lens
To replace a broken lens, follow the guide on how to remove the lens from the camera. Replace the old lens with a new one that is compatible with the LS743.
Buttons
"Buttons do not respond"
Damaged Menu Button
If the menu button is damaged in any way, replacing it may allow for full camera functionality. Follow the guide for button removal, and replace the old button with a new one.
Damaged top Button
If pressing the top button does not activate the shutter, it may need to be replaced. Follow the guide for button removal and replace the old button with a new one.
Camera Casing
"Casing is damaged"
Scratched/Broken Casing
Casing will most likely not have any effect on camera functionality. To replace casing find a case compatible with the LS743 on www.kodak.com and follow the guide on removing the camera casing.
