Hoverboard Has Loose Wires

The wires connecting the motor and motherboard may be loose. To check you will need to open the device and check the connections. Please view Hover-1 Liberty Bottom Cover Replacement.

Hoverboard Has a Broken Gyroscope

If recalibration does not work, then the gyroscopes in your hoverboard may be faulty. The red indicator light on the top of the hoverboard will flash 7 times to denote the gyroscope on the battery side is the issue or 8 times for the gyroscope on the motherboard side. Please view Hover-1 Liberty Gyroscope Sensor Boards Replacement.

Hoverboard Has a Faulty Motherboard

Hoverboard Has a Faulty Motherboard

If the connections are all secure, then the problem may be the motherboard. The red indicator light on the top of the hoverboard will flash once to denote this error. Please view Hover-1 Liberty Gyroscope Sensor Boards Replacement.

Hoverboard Has Something Blocking Magnets in the Wheels

If connections are all secure, then make sure to check the wheel interior for debris. To do this you will need to remove the magnetic turbine from the wheel. The red indicator light on the top of the hoverboard will flash 5 times to denote the wheel on the battery side is the issue or 4 times for the wheel on the mainboard side. Loose Power Button Cable

Check that the power button cable is completely connected to motherboard. Remove the cover. Please view Hover-1 Liberty Bottom Cover Replacement. Then check that the wires connecting the power button are in good condition and connected to the motherboard.

Loose Battery Connection

With the external cover removed, check the the two large wires connecting the battery to the motherboard are in good condition and don’t have debris inside the connector.

YELLOW: under 20%

RED: under 10%

Faulty Charger

Plug the charger into the wall and disconnect the charger from the board. The charger light should be bright green. If there is no light, make sure the charger adapter is completely inserted into the charger brick. If the light stays off, consider purchasing a replacement charger.

Same problem with my daughters as well. If you find a fix, please post.

I found a site where it references light stats on on one side and does not power down. It stated that that side with the light on has a bad gyroscope that controls that side. It said it can’t be fixed and needs replaced. In my case, I’m returning tomorrow for another one and try our luck with that.

Were any of you able to fix this problem? My daughters is having the same problem
