Hello, my name is Jacob, I go to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. My Major is computer science which I decided to choose because of my passion to learn about technology and code cool programs. My main hope is to be a software engineer. However I would also be open to working in other fields related to either programming or information technology.

I love to problem solve and challenging my mind with complex tasks. I have some basic repair experience such as replacing a laptop battery as well as a phone screen. I also have my CompTIA A+ which I earned during my time in high school.

Some of my hobbies include running, reading and coding. My latest obsession is chess, which I have began playing recently. Although I am not very good at chess yet, it allows me to challenge my brain and I am continually learning new strategies.

This experience will benefit me professionally by allowing me to demonstrate skills that are beneficial to lines of work I'm interested in. It will also personally benefit me by potentially allowing me to save money by not having to purchase new devices or pay someone to repair my device. Fun fact: I have a dog and two crested geckos.
