My name is Alexander Vaca and I am a second year Mechanical Engineering major at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. My skills include a proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and COMSOL. Through my involvement in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, I've gained important hands-on experience with rebuilding and repairing motors. As a part of the SolidWorks club, I continuously refine my CAD design skills and gain experience in modeling. My technical expertise include, problem-solving in engineering applications and mechanical system analysis. I am passionate about applying engineering principles to real-world challenges and expanding my knowledge in mechanical design and manufacturing. I think this project will help me improve on my collaboration and communication skills as well as help showcase my leadership skills and flexibility.
