My name is Ryan Borges, and I am a Freshman at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. My major is bioengineering, which I chose from an intense interest in the human body, and a love for solving problems. While it's a broad field, many aspects of it are concerned with helping people, and I hope to make a tangible impact on the world doing just that. I've fixed some things before, such as simple issues in cars and consoles, but I'm more versed in taking things apart than fixing them. I've received some academic recognition, such as making chancellor's list, and belong to the honors college. In my spare time I like to play soccer and video games. This project will benefit me both in becoming familiar with the process of assembling and tearing down machines, as well as refining my ability to work in a group environment. I can list the 50 U.S. states in alphabetical order and make my eyebrows dance.
