Performing the battery repair I damaged the ribbon cable which connects to the trackpad. Purchasing and replacing this component fixed the keyboard. MacBook Pro 13" Retina (A1708, A2159, A2289) Trackpad Cable From research it looks like if either keyboard or trackpad do not work this is the cable to replace. If the fans are spinning up loudly then you damaged the trackpad and that needs to be replaced as well. Hope this helps others out there!
Leer másSince you've opened your phone it may also be a hardware issue. The very long screw at the top above the flex cables, which is located between the power button and aux input may be the culprit. That screw is used to adjust the signal strength. Loosen and tighten it checking the phone signal every time accordingly and play around with it until you get the perfect signal.

Leer másSince it doesnt click, perhaps you reinstalled the physical button incorrectly. Make sure that the swinging handle bar is on the bottom when inserting it into its housing compartment. You may also want to look closely whether or not they circle on the button, and the button on the flex align properly.
Leer másNo theres no trick. The best way would be to put your phone to its side and apply firm pressure downward on the screw while unscrewing them. If there is any trick, itd be to just LOOSEN all 6 of the screws. I emphasize loosen because you can just unscrew them halfway and pull out the lcd assembly as a whole.
Leer másMake sure when you reassemble that the display assemble is settled and screwed properly. What happens is an uneven placement of the assembly can damage it even with a minor bend. If you already assembled your phone completely back together, chances are you already ruined the lcd assembly and will need to replace it with a new one.

Its low on stock and many websites dont supply them just yet because its still fairly a new device and it is likely that not a lot of people have cracked their screens yet. Less cracked screens means less demand which leads to not having a lot available online.
