Unfortunately, all iPhone models' biometric authentication systems' (Touch ID, Face ID) parts are software locked down, meaning that when installed a non-apple-paired part, it will refuse to work. The sensor, yes, is "coded", or married to the motherboard, unless Apple re-pairs another sensor to the motherboard. You have two options: to not use Face ID entirely, or purchase the Apple Self Repair parts from their store; I will put the links below. Leer másFirst, what phone is it? Troubleshooting steps might differ from each model. If possible, please provide phone make/model for better answers. You would also need the phone model for purchasing replacement parts. Secondly, most (or all) Android phones are fixable, if you can source the parts. It seems like the digitizer (touch screen) has been broken, probably from an impact that broke some of the fragile electronics. If there are no other damage, you can replace the display entirely (LCD (or else) and digitizer) or digitizer only on supported models.
Leer másYou're pretty much better off replacing the whole display assembly now, since the grade A OEM parts are not that expensive anymore. Also, it would be hard to find the hinge itself as a replacement.
Leer másFor this you'll need: (1) A Mac or PC (Windows 10 or 11) (2) A USB to Lightning Cable Shut the phone down like usual, then press and hold the power button till the recovery mode icon appears. Do not release at the Apple logo. When the recovery mode prompt appears, plug your iPhone into your Mac or PC. Open iTunes on your PC, or Finder on the Mac. Go to "iPhone", and click "Restore" on the popup. Hope this helps! EDIT: This will wipe your data. Be careful with this!

Leer másProbably the LCD is defective. The motherboard is fine, since the vibrations occur. Try reconnecting the flex to the motherboard, and if that doesn't work, just try a new LCD.
