These pogo pins don't hold tension very well and don't hold on very well. A temporary fix would be to bend the pogo pins out a bit with a screwdriver. Best solution would be one of the following: Solder brass shims on to the contact points to narrow the gap between the pins (Can't just use solder as it is too soft and the pins just push through) Solder wires directly to the pins Replace the earphones with a headset
Most common cause for the controller to stop tracking or have intermittent tracking is the two ribbon cables from the sensor array that connects to the top of the mainboard back out due to use or hitting walls. Disassemble the controller and reseat these cables and tracking should return.
The part that is responsible for communication is a combination between the trackpad and the mainboard. If the mainboard doesnt recieve a response from the trackpad then it will not sync and the cable is a common failure point. So if your controller won't pair you may notice that the blue light blinks slower. If this is the case then you should replace the ribbon cable on the trackpad (requires soldering the 2 pads on the haptic motor) or replace the trackpad assembly.
