Hey Eloy, I agree with what @dan0 said - we'll need a picture or clip of the screen to confirm, but it definitely sounds like the LCD might be dying/have dead pixels per the initial description.
Leer másThanks for providing the picture of the keyboard and the errors - that's a huge help! Keyboard: Honestly, looking at the visible age and wear of the keyboard, I'd guess from experience (professional IT engineer that has troubleshooted a loooooot of machines) that its likely just the keyboard module/keys on it wearing out. Especially as a number of those are commonly and visibly on this machine, higher use. Have you ever in the life of the device spilled anything on it, especially in that area? Graphics Driver: Does the error message contain any additional information at all? I'd try re-installing the GeForce Experience and then the install if you can, then it looks like this doc from Nvidia seems to help pull logs on that error. Note: While those steps seem reasonable and appear to be from Nvidia support, anything touching registry or drivers can have risk for your machine, and any/all changes, maintenance, troubleshooting you perform on your machine is at your discretion and risk. That bit said, I'd...
Leer másNot an expert on parts storage, so anyone else please correct me - but as long as you have it in a dry, not overly hot (don't stick it somewhere with direct sunlight/high humidly/its for some reason over a 100(?) degrees F and I'm guessing the shelf-life shouldn't be altered from whatever the manufacturer norm is. Which if I had to guess, is a couple years? Not certain, just going off intuition here but I can't see why a spare battery kept in the box and in safe, standard storage would have any degradation. Especially ordering an EOM from Dell.
Leer másCan you post any error messages you get here in the thread so we can take a peek? Without seeing it or having more context, the initial rough impression is the OS might have corruption/the drive might be failing, but we'd need to see errors and have a bit more info to tell. Best of luck.
Leer másPer description, it sounds the inverter may have died for your screen. The tell is usually everything seeming to work normally besides only being able to see the image on your screen if you hold a bright light, like a flashlight or your phone camera light, up near the LCD. It doesn't appear that IFixIt has a guide for that specific model, but it looks like this might help a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzdRtQB3... I think in the video he doesn't make a point of or show himself disconnecting the battery, but I always do so before disconnecting any cables or trying to remove any components for both safety me, and especially the rest of the machine. Goodluck and let me know how it goes!
Leer másHey Rebecca, If you can provide clear pictures of both the gear and exactly where it fell out, we might be able to assist. Otherwise, we don't have nearly enough information, apologies.
Leer másThe link below seems to do a solid job of showing the repair, but as I personally have done little mobile part replacement myself, I'm unsure if his use of the metal razerblade was best practice or a careful heating of the glass and a blunt metal or sturdy plastic spudger would be the correct choice. You're responsible for your equipment, repair, and safety but best of luck and let me know how it goes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC66uM8p...
Leer másLinked are a Youtube video on how to replace the back glass for that specific model, but doing a quick scroll through it I'd definitely recommend using the technique and tools shown in the IFixIt link that shows a breakdown of the P30 Pro as using the long, bare razor blade like they did is dangerous to both you and the phone itself. You're responsible for your own device, repairs, and safety but best of luck and let me know if you get that replaced successfully! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szbUcw27-X0&ab_channel=MOBILESERVICE Reemplazo del cristal trasero del Huawei P30 Pro
Leer másIt looks like per this that the RAM can be upgraded in theory, but it would require replacing a sauntered chip on the motherboard, which requires specialized skill and tools. It appears to be possible, but due to the difficulty, equipment requirement, and ability to easily kill a working board and chip - I wouldn't personally recommend it unless you are or are working with a specialized professional who does exactly that kind of work. https://www.reddit.com/r/Quest2/comments...
Leer másIt looks like @doctorkennyg said most everything I could with my limited experience dealing with stripped screws that small: How To Remove stripped screws from back shell IFixIt seems to have a really nifty looking precision screw extractor set (not trying to push their product, I've just really enjoyed their tools and use them myself in my IT work) Precision Screw Extractor Set Let me know what works for you - I'd love to know myself! Best of luck!

Appreciate the guide, this was an absolute pain to replace and I do NOT care for removing a battery as easy to damage as these when they’re mounted with such an obscene amount of adhesive. This guide allowed me to do so regardless, thanks.
Thank you for the guide, this in combination with the battery replacement was tied for the most finicky, difficult part replacement I’ve ever had to do for a client in the (admittedly short) 1.5 years I’ve been in IT. Well written and quality graphics.
Used this to replace a client’s battery before teaching myself to factory reset it and get it setup again for their partner. Appreciate the well-written guide with solid graphics. Thank you.
